Our carpets can take the abuse of tracked-in snow, the wear of work boots, and the spills of a busy family. These are commercial-grade rugs! Two soil lifting properties are added during the manufacturing process which helps the yarn shed soil. This means that the yarn is difficult to wet which makes cleaning your rugs an easy task. Unlike wool and other cotton yarns, nylon is naturally moisture resistant and resists mold, mildew, and insects. This natural moisture barrier also resists microbes, allergens, and the formation of bacteria, which means your rugs will stay healthy just as long as you do.

Of course, one textile is enough to give a room a Wild West look. Sarah Wittenbraker, owner and designer of the kitchen, kept it clean and minimalistic with the exception of a vibrant, graphic rug. The kitchen and living room were renovated without the use of drywall. Instead, the concrete floor and metal beams are complemented by the organic warmth created by the graphic walls and birch ceilings. This space represents a contemporary, minimalist take on Southwestern design. Vigas are traditional adobe wood ceiling beams that are made from wood. They're a hallmark of this sophisticated dining room. The large wood table and 10 slipper chairs, as well as a buffet, welcome guests to the space.

It's difficult for anyone to think of a Southwestern theme more prominent than the cactus. These southwestern elements play a large role in this green and white bedroom. The space can be easily transformed with accessories and decor thanks to its off-white walls. The simple Southwestern design of this room is reflected in the two-toned dressing table, simple floor lamps, and woven rug.

The bathroom's mosaic tile floor is black-and-white and features a light blue vanity with brass pulls. Cactus can be a great companion, even if it is spiky. The bathroom's two sides are separated by a pocket door. The floor's tile pattern visually unites them. The desert theme is carried throughout both spaces by the sandy-colored cabinets and rug, as well as the cactus accents in both the artwork and the actual plant.

A traditional tub, pin-striped shower curtain, penny tile floors and bold artwork complement the Pacific blue wall tiles in this historic-meets-modern bath. A red Southwestern-style rug adds a contrasting pop of color to this bathroom space. A collection of patterned Mexican tiles covers this bathroom countertop, while a single row of green tiles extends up the wall to transition the countertop to a wood framed mirror. Paired with simple wood cabinetry and a white sink, the tile is the star. The Junk Gypsies brought in color here by painting the staircase wall bright blue and hanging a large American flag. Comfortable leather furniture with festive pillows welcomes guests to sit and relax. A Native American style rug brings warmth and an atmosphere of the American West. A glittery silver eagle hangs above a sitting area with wrought iron chairs under the staircase, and large gold wings welcome guests at the entryway.
